Woodside Cheese Wrights commenced production in 1994 and have since been producing a range of high quality, award-winning cheeses that are all hand made from fresh goat and cow’s milk sourced directly from local dairies in the Adelaide Hills.

In 1999, Woodside was purchased by the Lloyd Family of Coriole Vineyards who produce quality wine and olives. Kris Lloyd took over as head cheesemaker and has continued in the Woodside way with a passionate team of cheesemakers, producing specialty cheeses with their own individual character and plenty of flavour.

This cheese exhibits a soft silky interior with hints of grassiness and a delicate goat milk flavour. The ash coating serves mainly as decoration, but also acts as a preservative.
