Sainte Maure Poitou Affiné
The pastures and rolling hills of this region provide an environment that allows goats to produce a high yield of excellent quality milk. This is one of France’s most popular goat cheeses without the ash coating often seen.
The centre of the cheese remains chalky as the cheese softens elegantly under its characteristically wrinkly rind. Its flavour is rich and creamy with an increased nuttiness as the cheese ripens.
