David & Anne Brown founded Milawa Cheese Company and produce delicious Australian farmhouse cheeses inspired by European methods. They purchased the old butter factory in the Victorian town of Milawa and began with the great intention to produce a blue like no other on the Australian market. Thirty years on, Milawa Cheese Company are making a wide variety of cheese from local goat and cow’s milk producers.

This cheese is made in the tradition of the original Normandie Camembert. Buttery and a little nutty when young, as it matures it will develop a mottled rind with strong aromas and earthy flavour.
