David & Anne Brown founded Milawa Cheese Company and produce delicious Australian farmhouse cheeses inspired by European methods. They purchased the old butter factory in the Victorian town of Milawa and began with the great intention to produce a blue like no other on the Australian market. Thirty years on, Milawa Cheese Company are making a wide variety of cheese from local goat and cow’s milk producers.

David and his friend Richard Thomas set to work creating a hand-made blue cheese that was inspired by Italian Gorgonzola Dolce. The result is this mild, creamy soft blue with a distinct salty tang that has been converting non blue eaters since 1988.
