Maffra Cheese Company is located on a dairy farm in the heart of Gippsland's dairy country. Their cheese is made entirely from milk collected from the dairy’s herd of Holstein Friesian cows, making them a Farmhouse cheese producer.

The Cloth Ashed Cheddar is Maffra’s multi-award winning cheddar. It is handmade using traditional cheddaring methods, and is than aged in cloth, allowing a thin rind to form and is carefully matured to its optimum age.

It exhibits a sweet, full bodied flavour initially and then lingers with complex after tones. The interior is moist, yet slightly crumbly with a creamy mouthfeel.
