La Vera is a boutique cheese making company in suburban Adelaide where the Marmorale family have been making cheese since 1984. Originally established by Pino and Giovanna with "the genuine art of cheese making" their number one focus. The next generation of the family have now taken the reins and the company continues to grow. 

The pecorino is made in the style of traditional sheeps’ milk pecorino romano, but with cows’ milk. It also uses non-animal rennet to appeal to vegetarian cheese lovers. It has a firm, slightly open texture with a bold, salty flavour.
