King Island Dairy Stokes Point Smoked Cheddar
King Island Dairy Stokes Point Smoked Cheddar
King Island herds graze on pristine, wind-swept pastures, supplementing their rich diet with the occasional nibble of kelp washed ashore after heavy storms. They produce some of the purest, sweetest milk in the world.
Stokes Point Smoked Cheddar is named after the southernmost tip of the island and its closest point to north-western Tasmania.
King Island Dairy Cheddar is matured for nine months then naturally smoked with Tasmanian hardwood. The golden rind created during smoking acts as a natural preservative. The cheese has an open texture and a rich smoky flavour reminiscent of good bacon.
