Goat cheese is acknowledged as one of the first dairy products ever to be made. Initially it was produced in a very simple form, by allowing raw milk to naturally curdle, and then perhaps draining and pressing the curds.

If the cheese is to be aged, it is often brined so it will form a rind, and is then stored in a cool cheese cave for several months to cure.

Produced in the Netherlands, this semi-hard pure goat’s milk cheese has a supple, creamy-white interior. It has a mild, gentle sweet-and-salty flavour with a creamy melt-in-the-mouth texture.
